PERFORMANCES  Théâtre Sévelin 36

Scott «Wino» Weinrich

Théâtre Sévelin 36 - Friday June 27th 2014 - 21:30 - Free entrance!

It is a great honor to welcome a legend of the US hard rock scene

who will present the most intimate side of his work. Since the mid-seventies,

Wino has left his strong mark on the underground scene with bands like The Obsessed,

Saint-Vitus, Spirit Caravan, Place of Skulls, The Hidden Hand or Shrinebuilder.

Easy to understand why Dave Grohl invited him to take part in the Probot recording!

Playing at Inferno with Spirit Caravan,

this huge Townes Van Zandt fan will also perfom an acoustic set.

Gabriel Farine

Théâtre Sévelin 36 - Friday June 27th 2014 - 20:30 - Free entrance!

Ageless songs, laments of lost galactic knights, acoustic versions

of his thrash-punk project Mandroïd of Krypton, in French, in English,

on many different planets at the same time, weird acoustic-post-punk-metal songs

from an essential figure of the underground scene in Geneva.

Kevin Hufnagel

Théâtre Sévelin 36 - Saturday June 28th 2014 - 21:30 - Free entrance!

When he's not shredding like a madman in Gorguts or with Dysrhythmia

(math metal) and Vaura (dark atmospheric rock),

Kevin Hufnagel as a solo artist writes complex and captivating melodies

with an acoustic guitar or... a baritone ukulele!

It's a huge privilege to present this tremendous musician's first ever solo

performance outside the USA!

Agathe Max

Théâtre Sévelin 36 - Saturday June 28th 2014 - 19:45 - Free entrance!

A classically trained violonist, Agathe Max has opted for experimental and improvised music.

Also a visual artist, she draws fascinating soundscapes made of loops and ambient,

multi-layered arrangements.

Her latest album Dangerous Days is a meditation on the future of the human species.

Erna Ómarsdóttir et Valdimar Johannsson

Théâtre Sévelin 36 - Saturday June 28th 2014 - 17:00 - Free entrance!

To sing, scream, moan; the artistic duet Erna Ómarsdóttir and Valdimar Jóhannsson present in its performance an aggression of all your hearing and visual habits! The musical spectrum goes from softly whispered sweet songs and explosive guitar solos with thrilled vocals that evoke a heavy metal opera. Based on their particulary weird and dark presence, they propose various mystic, poetic, thrilling and disturbing images. Here is Lazyblood, an extreme experience that fascinates by the energy of the performance and by the brutality of the music.

With her productions mixing storytelling, absurdity and horror,

the famous choregrapher Erna Ómarsdóttir has a furious reputation

on the international dance scene! Graduated from PARTS under the direction

of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, she has also worked with Jan Fabre

and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. With her company Shalala, she continues

to successfully create her own universe. She has also worked with many

other famous artists, like the icelandic visual artist Gabriela Fridriksdottir

and the famous pop musician Björk.
